Peter D'Orsi is a creative web development specialist, who has a passion for video games and amazing food.
I was born in the early morning of June 15, 1978 in the smallest state in the union. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a house that was an early adopter of technology. We were some of the first people in the state connecting to BBS's and the public library freenets. Most likely due to my fascination with puzzles, I developed an early obsession with video games, most of which were text based at the time.
It was this hobby that molded my choices for studies at college. I attended Syracuse University mainly because it was one of the few schools that was offering 3D modeling at the time in '95. I focused on low polygon modeling for video game development, however during the start of the dot com boom, the money and opportunities for start-up web development firms were a greater lure.
I am currently the Art Director and Sr. Graphic Developer for a large web (and some print) based company in Philadelphia. I am still a tech junkie and devote a fair amount of time to video games and upgrading my computers.
I listen to mostly electronic music, especially Trip-Hop and Drum and Bass. I am a fan of post-modern art, graffiti and anything that falls in the cyberpunk genre.
I am a huge green tea drinker averaging around 5-7 cups per day. I have zero allergies and have no food dislike (I even love brussel sprouts, lima beans and liver and onions).
As of Sept. 29th 2006, I am married to a brown haired, steely blue-eyed woman who refers to herself Shannon. I am the owner of the meanest old hand-me-down cat that has ever walked the face of the earth, Ray and his counterpart in crime, the sweet Lola.
